Rather than building AI capability in-house, his team takes an "orchestrator" approach, working with fast-moving AI vendors and hyperscalers rather than owning the full build, while managing the governance complexity that comes with a workforce spanning kitchen staff to corporate teams across very different regulatory environments (from the UK and Ireland to Japan and Hong Kong).
